Sky Meadow
Details
A forested wetland severely degraded by tree diseases and invasive Eurasian plants has slowly been restored using wetland plants endemic to eastern North America. The resulting vegetation offers aesthetic visual impact, prevents soil erosion during flooding, and produces a wealth of blossom from May through to November. Waves of butterflies, honeybees and a miscellany of pollinators flutter over copious nectar plants — to the delight of many.
